Savannah Sounds
Savannah Sounds in only its second year has become one of the highlights of North Queensland's calender and an integral part of the Port Douglas Carnivale celebrations.
This year spanning across 3 days it brought a bit of country and a lot of rock n roll, something for everyone.
Saturday was the big night kicking off in the early afternoon with local acts and then into some country with Newcastle lad Austin MacKay, Sara Berki followed by the amazing Kingswood playing just one day after releasing their new album Midnight Maverick, this really set the tone for the rest of the evening as by the end of their set the whole crowd was up and dancing.
It has been a while since Vanessa Amorosi has played in the Far North put her powerful set has shown she has lost none of her musical prowess ending with epic hit Absolutely Everybody.
Jon Stevens finished the night out with his Noiseworks/Inxs set that proved what a crowd favourite this legendary Australian frontman is.
Savannah Sounds was a great family night out with some epic music...see you all in 2027
Thank you to Savannah Sounds for having us along.
