Bullet For My Valentine - The Poison Australia 2025
Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion was pure chaos last night as Bullet for My Valentine unleashed a thunderous set that proved their metalcore dominance is far from over. From the moment the lights dimmed, the venue was a sea of black shirts, horns raised high, and fans ready to scream every lyric back at the band.
The Devil Wears Prada kicked the night off with pure fury, lighting a fire under the crowd from the very first breakdown. Their mix of tight riffs, guttural vocals and non-stop energy had the mosh pit churning instantly. Then came While She Sleeps, who took things even darker, their set felt like a storm brewing inside the venue, packed with emotion, crunching guitars and an intensity that had the entire room shaking.
By the time Bullet for My Valentine hit the stage, the place erupted. Opening with Knives, they tore straight into a relentless run of fan favourites Your Betrayal, Scream Aim Fire, and of course Tears Don’t Fall. Every song hit with precision and power, the crowd screaming every word right back at Matt Tuck, whose vocals cut perfectly between aggression and melody. The band sounded slick, heavy and unrelenting, with the kind of stage presence that only comes from years of dominating big rooms.
Every breakdown was chaos. Every chorus, a wall of sound. Fans were on shoulders, sweat was flying, and the floor never stopped moving. It was one of those nights where the connection between band and crowd felt unbreakable — like everyone in the room knew they were part of something special.
And just when it seemed like things couldn’t get any louder, Bullet dropped a bombshell — a brand new album announcement. The reaction? Utter bedlam. The roar that followed could’ve blown the roof off the Hordern.
Bullet for My Valentine are officially back, heavier, louder and stronger than ever. Sydney witnessed it firsthand: a triumphant reminder that metalcore still reigns supreme.
