New Found Glory - Aus Tour 2025

New Found Glory rolled into Frankston like they were kicking off a backyard party rather than a full-blown gig, and honestly, that’s exactly what made the night so good. Pier Bandroom was packed wall-to-wall, the kind of sweaty, shoulder-to-shoulder crowd that you only ever get when a band with real history steps onto a small stage. You could feel the excitement buzzing through the room well before the lights dimmed.

The second the band appeared, the place ignited. No easing in, no warmup — they launched straight into their set with the same pop-punk intensity they’ve been carrying for decades. It was loud, fast, and unapologetically nostalgic in the best possible way. Jordan Pundik was bouncing from the first beat, feeding off the crowd’s energy, and delivering vocals with the same bright, punchy attitude that made so many of these songs staples of an entire era.

The band locked in tight behind him: guitars crunching, drums hitting that perfect balance between chaos and precision, everything driving forward like a runaway train. Even from the back of the room, you could feel the floor shifting under everyone’s feet as the crowd jumped, moshed, and shouted every word like they’d been rehearsing for months.

Between songs, the banter was classic New Found Glory — funny, warm, a little chaotic, and full of gratitude. They joked about being back in Melbourne, teased each other, and made the night feel intimate despite the full house. That’s always been part of their magic: they play with arena-level conviction but still talk to fans like it’s a house show.

By the time the final stretch rolled in, the heat in the room was wild and everyone looked absolutely wrecked in the best way. Sweat dripping, voices gone, hearts full. New Found Glory soaked in the moment, thanking fans for sticking with them all these years before sending the room into one last burst of chaos.

It wasn’t polished. It wasn’t perfect. It was raw, loud, messy, emotional — exactly what a New Found Glory show should be. A proper pop-punk night at the Pier Bandroom, and a reminder that some bands never lose their bite, no matter how long they’ve been at it

Thank you to New Found Glory, Destroy All Lines, Dallas Does PR and the Pier Bandroom for having us along.
