ACRAZE is ULTRA excited
We are now just days away from Ultra, the international festival brand that always delivers a fully stacked lineup of globe-trotting, chart-topping DJs and performers, and the 2023 edition happening on the 15th of April is no exception. Ultra Australia happening in Melbourne is a three stage, one-date-only event not to be missed. Joining internationals like Hardwell & Darren Styles will be Stanton Island heavyweight DJ, ACRAZE and we caught up with him to ask about Ultra, Australia and what attendees can expect.
You have been announced as one of the Artists performing at the 2023 edition of Ultra Australia, happening on the 15th of April, are you excited to be a part of one of the biggest touring international festivals in the world?
Super excited to be apart of Ultra Australia. Never thought I would be here to play Ultra, but very excited to see how everything goes.

Is Ultra Australia the first time you've toured in Australia? Where or what are you looking forward to most on your visit downunder?
Yes, it’s my first time, we have a few shows Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast.
I’m very excited about Gold Coast, I have heard that the scenery is very beautiful and I am very stoked about Ultra in Melbourne as well.
How do you prepare yourself for a massive event like Ultra Australia?
Lots of Expresso's and some Tequila to get me started, very excited about Ultra its going to be SICK
What's the one song from your back catalogue that you always slip into a festival set?
I would say Do It To It. It’s always a key moment in my sets, love playing that record.

Apart from your own, who's set are you most looking forward to seeing at Ultra?
I want to see Hardwell, Harwell is probably one of my favourite artists, especially growing up in the scene . I remember meeting him for the first time in Saudi Arabia he is such a cool dude really love his energy and I’m excited to see how he plays. I saw him play live stream at Ultra Miami, so excited to see what he brings to Ultra Australia.
What can punters expect from your upcoming performance at Ultra ? Any surprises planned?
Lots of new music, lots of energy, lots of groovy sexy feeling, it’s going to be super fun
What are the best and worst parts of being on a multi artist bill? Do egos ever get in the way or does it just add to the party?
I guess the best thing about that would be is going to see all the different artists and different types of genres, while you are at the festival. I think that is the fun part and probably the worst part is the ego thing, I mean that it’s in the scene a lot you can’t really run from that.
