New Year’s is coming and we can’t wait! NYE in the Park is the only festival taking place in Sydney on NYE and after attending last year’s event, trust us when we say this is one crakka of a party. The line-up for NYE in the Park includes Australian and International artists and bands, many of who have been on tour overseas, and are returning for the Harbour city’s best New Year’s event. MFA caught up with some of the line-ups to ask them about NYE in the Park, what fans can look forward to and who’s set they’re most keen to watch. Next on the list is Internationally acclaimed DJ, Late Nite Tuff Guy.

You are one of the Artists confirmed to perform at NYE in the Park, the only festival event happening in Sydney on NYE. Are you excited to be a part of this celebration to welcome in the new year?

LNTG: Yes very excited – I think like all of us after being restricted over recent years I don’t take our celebrations for granted and NYE is one of the best. I’m looking forward to a fantastic 2023.

NYE in the Park is a long-standing event with a diverse bunch of attendees, set in the middle of the harbour city. Have you participated before and if not what are you anticipating?

LNTG: No I haven’t participated before but I’ve heard great things so don’t disappoint me ok? Haha!

How do you prepare yourself for a festival event like NYE in the Park?

Well to be honest I like to perform very spontaneously so I try to sense the crowd and their energy and go from there.

What can punters expect from your upcoming performance at this New Year’s Eve event? Any surprises planned?

I can’t tell you about the surprises otherwise that would be giving it away right ☺ but I’m really excited as I have some great new tracks that I hope to play and that I think a NYE crowd will love.

Apart from your own, whose set are you most looking forward to seeing played at NYE in the Park?

It’s a great lineup but I always enjoy playing with Flight Facilities guys – we’ve done some great shows together and I don’t expect this to be any different.

If you could collaborate with any artist from this great line-up, who would it be and why?

Again, probably Flight Facilities – we’ve collaborated before - I did a LNTG remix of their track ‘Stranded’ which I loved working on.

What does a normal NYE look like for you? How do you usually ring in the New Year?

Normally NYE means I’m performing but you’ll never hear me complain – it’s always a great way to bring in a new year.

What is your message for everyone who's coming to NYE in the Park?

I’ll keep it simple by saying bring the love and be ready to dance and celebrate - let’s make it one to remember
