3 times the Jamhuri Festival fun in 2023
After a successful event in Sydney last year, the Jamhuri Festival is returning and not only to Sydney but this celebration of Kenyan music is also heading to Melbourne and Perth.
Happening in 3 states this December, Rasta Lion Wear will again host this family-friendly celebration of Jamhuri Day. the Kenyan Independence Day, and will include live music performances, workshops, Market Stalls and activities for the kids.
All facets of the Kenyan music culture will be on display at the Jamhuri Festival for everyone to immerse themselves in including international musicians to really showcase the rhythms of Kenya. This year’s lineup of artists include WILLY PAUL (KE), JESSE ROYAL FT. DUBWISE (JA), THE REAL PREGNLY (SA), IVANII (KE) and DJ SIMPLE SIMON.
This all-ages event will include lots of fun activities for kids, Kenyan food stalls will be on hand to provide yummy eats and shoppers can satisfy their urges with a range of market stalls to also be set up on the day.
