A Noisy Expansion
Australia’s live music circuit is getting a serious volume boost, with the Noisy Group announcing a major expansion that cements its growing influence across the East Coast. The independent live music powerhouse has revealed it has acquired six new venues across Queensland and New South Wales.
The Noisy Group’s latest acquisitions significantly expand the entities’ national footprint, giving more opportunities to touring artists to connect with audiences across both metro and regional markets. Known for curating lineups that champion a mix of established names and emerging talent, the group continues to position itself as one of Australia’s most active and forward-thinking live music programmers.
“We’re building a roster of venues that artists genuinely want to play,” says Noisy Group Co-Founder Matt Wise. “From iconic pubs to coastal stages and large festival environments, it’s about creating spaces where great live music thrives. These venues all have their own identity and loyal audiences — which is exactly what touring artists are looking for.”
The newly added venues include everything from historic pubs to scenic coastal stages. In Queensland, the Distillery Road Market in Eagleby brings a dynamic food and entertainment hub into the fold, boasting a large capacity main room and expansive warehouse space perfectly suited for large scale live events. In New South Wales, the Hornsby RSL adds a major northern Sydney entertainment destination, while acquisition of the Tacking Point Tavern in Port Macquarie, the Royal Hotel in Kew and the Old Bar Tavern strengthens the appeal of the Mid North Coast as a touring route for artists and bands.
Further north, The Coffs Hotel will increase its legacy as a key stop for touring acts, while The Beach Hotel in Newcastle offers one of the country’s most picturesque stages, being set directly opposite Merewether Beach.
Beyond venue expansion, Noisy Group has also been confirmed as the programming force behind the freshly reimagined Salty Sounds Festival, set to take over Old Bar Tavern on Saturday the 26th of September 2026, with the group also set to launch an entirely new festival brand in Sydney in 2027.
This latest announcement continues the Noisy Group’s rocketing trajectory, as it continues to build one of the country’s most diverse and exciting venue networks. Bridging metro centres, regional communities and coastal destinations, the group is not only expanding opportunities for touring artists, but also strengthening the live music experience for audiences right across Australia’s East Coast.
