Stone Temple Pilots new release “Miles Away”
Stone Temple Pilots are set to release their 8th album “Perdida” on February 7th, with new vocalist Jeff Gutt at the helm. The first all acoustic album precedes the bands’ upcoming headline tour for Under the Southern Stars in April. This is the first Australian tour with Gutt in wake of frontman Chester Benningtons' tragic passing in 2017.
V. SPIN - “Miles Away’ is like many of the songs you’ll hear on Perdida: They originate from, and ultimately convey, the pain of heartbreak, either from the loss of a love affair or a loved one. The track has something of a Spanish vibe to it, featuring Yutong Sharpe on violin, Bill Appleberry handling keyboards, and even bassist Robert DeLeo on marxophone.”
