Chasing the Skyline

 Following a huge 10th birthday celebration last year, the much-loved Dashville Skyline festival returns this October long weekend for what’s shaping up to be its most ambitious edition yet. Dubbed the ‘Cosmic Country Weekender,’ the festival is set to light up the Hunter Valley with its biggest and most diverse lineup in its 11-year history. Set to take place from the 3rd –5th of October, the weekend promises a musical camping experience like no other—steeped in Americana soul, country charm, and genre-blurring creativity.

This year’s lineup includes a strong and eclectic list of local and international artists including The Cruel Sea, Nikki Lane, Cordovas, Vincent Neil Emerson, Laidback Country Picker, Swimming Bell, Fanny Lumsden, Mama Kin Spender, Lost Ragas, Melody Pool, Charlie Collins, Minor Gold, Emily Lubitz, Col Ray Price, Jamey Foxton, The Slims, Midnight Chicken, Magpie Diaries, Huckleberry & The Devils Dandruff, CJ Stranger, Tall Shaun & The Resolution, William Alexander, and the suave Kingsley James & The Forest Keepers. With more acts, set times, and festival activities still to be announced in early July, the full scope of the 2025 experience is only just beginning to take shape.

Dashville Skyline is beloved for its laid-back atmosphere and rich mix of folk, country, blues, and Americana vibes. The festival offers over 40 live performances across three unique stages, all set against the backdrop of rustic bushland charm. It’s a haven for music lovers who prefer their tunes with a touch of soul, storytelling, and the occasional steel guitar slide.

Festivalgoers can also enjoy mouth-watering American-inspired food and drink, vintage market stalls, a music history exhibition, a petting zoo for the kids, a combined guitar and classic car “show and shine.” as well as one of the weekend’s most anticipated moments is the Sunset Super Round—a Saturday night collaboration where roster artists converge on the main stage to perform renditions of golden era classics.

With its signature blend of authentic sounds, family-friendly vibes, and unpretentious atmosphere, Dashville Skyline continues to stand out as one of Australia’s most eclectic and fun camping music festivals.
