Who will Reign Supreme?

DJs around the country will finally have the chance in 2024 to scratch that itch as the highly contested DMC World DJ Championships continues its global circuit Down Under. Kicking off in Victoria at the end of this month, the longest running and most prestigious World DJ Championships are looking for the next Mix Masters to represent Australia in Paris in October, in an Olympic level finale for the 2024 World DMC supremacy title!

Alongside the classic 6-minute Category for Turntablist/ Scratch DJs, DMC have introduced the New “Open Format Category” where any equipment (CDJs/Controllers/Effects) will be allowed. DMC Australia have joined forces with DJ CITY to revolutionise the new category to the local market. Aimed at Club DJs, the new format is seeking the coupling of creativity with multiple genres into a packed 12-minute set.

Heats are locked and loading in every major State across the country in August/September with all State Champs set to battle it out at the National Finals at the iconic Revolver in Melbourne, Saturday 14th September. JFB (UK), 3 x World Champion will Headline in Melbourne and perform the role of Head Judge for the two-platform decider. Winners from both Categories will fly to Paris to represent the Green and Gold on 18th October.

2023 Australian Title winner, Max Best from Tasmania finished an impressive 4th in an aggressive battle in The Golden City of San Fransisco. Will Max return in 2024 to defend his title? Who will reign supreme??
