Light Up for Audrey
The Central Coast will come together on Saturday the 4th of October for LIGHT UP, a landmark community event at Polytec Stadium, honouring the memory of Audrey Griffin and calling for a safer future for all.
Far more than a music festival, LIGHT UP is a movement built on remembrance, unity and change. Inspired by Audrey’s legacy, the event stands for a future where safety and respect are non-negotiable, and where everyone has the simple right to get home safely.
The one day celebration will feature a powerful lineup of Australian talent, including chart-topping rock band Birds of Tokyo, electronic star LUUDE, soulful vocalist Mia Wray, Central Coast favourites The Moving Stills, DJ Moody Tiger Pants, and special guest Arabella Romi, a close friend of Audrey’s and a rising local singer-songwriter. The all-ages, family-friendly program will also include food stalls, safe spaces, information stands, and a busking tent.
Organisers, led by Audrey’s mother Kathleen, are asking attendees to dress in white, creating a striking “sea of unity” as a symbol of remembrance, strength, and hope for change.
In a final act of solidarity, locals, businesses and festivalgoers are encouraged to leave their lights on across the Central Coast on the evening of October 4th as a glowing tribute to Audrey’s life and a powerful community pledge to safety and respect.
