Sound Collective

A brand new festival celebrating reggae and roots is heading to the Gold Coast in 2027, with Sound Collective set to make its debut at Broadwater Parklands on Saturday the 20th of February. Bringing together some of the biggest names across reggae, roots, soul and Pacific music, the inaugural festival will feature Maoli, Stan Walker, Katchafire, Arrested Development, SOJA, A.R.T., Bradamon Band and Riah, alongside a local artist to be selected through a festival competition.

Sound Collective is designed to celebrate the strong Australian audience for these genres while creating a platform that brings established artists and emerging talent together on the same bill. The festival will deliver a full day and evening of live music at the picturesque Broadwater Parklands, with the festival aiming to establish a new destination for roots, reggae, soul and Polynesian-influenced music on the Gold Coast.
