Strummingbird is set to soar
Strummingbird Festival is launching for the first time this year, bringing some of the biggest names in country music. Headlining the event is Jelly Roll, who will be visiting Australia for the very first time. Also making his Aussie debut is global star Shaboozey, joining a stacked lineup for the main stage including Treaty Oak Revival, James Johnston, Kaylee Bell, Matt Hansen, Drew Baldridge, Julia Cole, The Jack Wharff Band, The Dreggs, Wade Forster, Zac& George, Rachael Fahim and Australian Idol darling Denvah rounding out the roster.
Each night will wrap up with the Late Night Riot — a high-energy party that feels like a classic country pub, where anything goes and everyone’s welcome to let loose. Hot Dub Time Machine will close out the nights in Sunshine Coast and Perth, while notorious party-starter Y.O.G.A., will take over in Newcastle to keep the boots scootin’ until the very end.
Strummingbird hits the road in October, kicking off on Saturday the 25th of October at the Kawana Sports Precinct in Sunshine Coast. The festival then heads to Newcastle on Saturday the 1st of November at Newcastle Foreshore, before wrapping up out west at the Claremont Showground in Perth on Sunday the 2nd of November.
Beyond the two live music stages, Strummingbird offers the full country experience with an Aussie twist. Festivalgoers can ride a mechanical bull, enjoy line dancing sessions with Maddison Glover at the Howdy Howdy Saloon, grab a BBQ meal and a cold drink, browse merch, and soak up all the fun that celebrates Australia’s unique country culture.
