The Expansion of SYNTHONY
After back to back sold out events , even in the midst of the pandemic ridden 2021, the unique and spectacular fusion of electronic dance music, live performances and immersive visuals that is SYNTHONY sees the returns of the concert series in all its full-blown technicolour for another year. The 2022 edition of SYNTHONY will be raising the bar even higher with an impressive dynamic and truly breathtaking experience.
Celebrating thirty years of global dance anthems remastered by up to a 60-piece orchestras with impressive guest vocalists, DJs and musicians set in some of Australia’s most iconic live venues, SYNTHONY offers a delicious feast for all music fans. In its second year and with extra cities added to the tour SYNTHONY is primed to solidify its place as one of the hottest live events in the country.
Showcasing a range of songs and artists, including tracks from Avicii, Tiesto, Daft Punk, Eric Prydz, Bob Sinclair and so many more, the 2022 SYNTHONY experience will incorporate live performances from the likes of Savage, Emily Williams, Mobin Master, Greg Gould, Cassie McIvor, Andy Van, Matty O, and Ilan Kidron from The Potbelleez performing the reimagined iconic songs along with world class orchestras in each city and conducted by the acclaimed Sarah-Grace Williams. This unique event was arranged by Ryan Youens, and curated by Dick Johnson, and will bring their one of a kind performance to some of the country’s most iconic and special live music locations.

The newest home of SYNTHONY for Sydney has been announced as the spectacular Cockatoo Island, showcasing the versatility of the show’s adaptable nature and demonstrates their ability to shine at arenas, parks and islands across Australia. SYNTHONY will take over Brisbane’s Riverstage on the 28th of May, before making their way to the Perth RAC Arena , WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong, the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Cockatoo Island and a season finale to the event’s second jubilant year in Australia at Hobart Wrest Point Lawns on the 19th of November.
