Who's at the Gum Ball in 2022
The annual, Gum Ball has released its 2022 lineup and as usual its stacked full of great Australian talent. One of Australia’s most cherished music festivals. The Gum Ball returns to it’s long weekend roots in 2022 for three days of musical fun over the school holidays, 22nd to the 24th April 2022.
Set amongst the idyllic bushland of the Hunter Valley, in the heart of Wonnarua country, The Gum Ball is the biggest event on the Dashville’s calendar. In 2022 the family friendly cultural jamboree will celebrate it’s 17th birthday and the hard working team at Dashville are eager to get back to business delivering a much needed cultural escape and a return to days of old.
VAUDEVILLE SMASH
The festival continues to connect community and culture, with distinct respects shown to the traditional owners of the land, the Wonnarua people, featured through unique artwork by local Indigenous artist Debbie Becker.
The Bottlers
In conjunction with Festivals Australia the creation of the Young Gums Youth Mentorship Project, a five-day mentorship project, was established in 2021 and was a huge success which the Dashville crew is hoping to continue on at next year’s festival giving young Australian’s a chance to work in a caring and supervised festival/event environment.
The Gum Ball brings a selection of the best musical acts from around Australia and showcases them in a picturesque setting, alongside comedy acts, pro skateboarding, markets, workshops, camping and more.
