A bit of Spring Bliss

Set amongst the beautiful Macedon Ranges in Victoria is the famous Hanging Rock, known for its cultural significance to our First Nations People and the spooky school girl’s disappearance, the Rock has a new claim to fame. Hanging Rock is now the home of the Spring Bliss Festival which is set to take place on the 5th of November.

The musical lineup for Spring Bliss includes Australian alt-country duo the Pierce Brothers, first nation royalty Amos Roach with the Murrundaya Yepengna Dance Troupe & Orchestra, Thndo, Blue House, Elevated Plains, WHISP, DJ Rich Spinning Time & Zac Sheen. The workshops taking place on the day offer diverse teachings that include Singing, Ukulele, Permaculture, Hip Hop Dancing, Yoga, Chi Gung and even a Teenage Witch workshop.

Spring Bliss is a family-friendly festival event that will include lots of activities for the kids including a ‘Kids Zone’. A sensory safe space will be set for all those that need a break from the sounds and colours that will be prevalent on the day. There will be cultural demonstrations including face-painting and storytelling from the local First Nations communities. Health and well-being are being addressed via a bunch of workshops, market stalls and a massive clothes swap that is also planned to run throughout the day.
