Watty Thompson - Watty Thompson
Brand spanking new, well, this year, and a debut. He’s full of power, emotion, heart and comedy. When I first heard it I immediately new it would be a love or hate thing, it’s challenging, like if the Drones went country. But I love it. Check him out.
Fanny Lumsden - Hey Dawn
This is Fanny and the band's latest record and it was nice to hear some tracks live of it when we were over in the US together. The music is great, the songs are great, the people are great. What’s not to love?
Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson - Rattlin’ Bones
This one has a soft spot because it’s played a lot at my mum's place. So it just feels like home. It’s like I know all the songs without ever actively listening to it.
Andy Golledge - Strength of a Queen
This one’s a ripper, and the band is great love too. I like what Andy is doing for country music in Australia, rowdy in the pubs, the way it should be.
