Top 4 Live performance moments / festival moments from Flaskas

1.     When we headlined the Mitchell Creek Blues & Roots Festival on the closing night (Sunday). The crowd was pumping and a very decent size… the sound on stage was thumping so much that due to the vibrations the bass cab head fell off the speaker. It was hectic but such a vibe, then as we finished our set the crowd went mental singing for one more song and this kept happening till the third one more song until they pulled the power and cut the lights. Haha it was high energy and by far the loudest one more song chant we have experienced.

2.     One festival we played the whole front row hard up against the stage was disabled folk in wheelchairs. They were all dancing so hard and it was so special to see how much our music was moving them. Music is so so powerful.

3.     We were the headlining act for the welcome to Sunshine Coast commonwealth Games opening ceremony and had local indigenous dancers performing alongside us. That was powerful and extremely special. Respect to our first nations peoples past present and emerging.

4.     We have had so many crazy moments in amazing locations with crowd members dancing on the stage unannounced and singing on stage unannounced or even birds or insects landing on mics and instruments. We had a bloke dressed up in Australia animal suits mimicking the animal moments which was epic as. All those funny moments make you laugh and you remember them forever. The energy music brings is so transformative. Being a performer and seeing how much impact your music is having on an audience is the most precious feeling and experience.
