Enter Stage Right Showcase Series

Held on Friday, October 31st, the first night of Enter Stage Right’s Showcase Series lit up the Elixir Music House with an unforgettable evening of original live music. With free entry and an all-ages crowd, the venue buzzed with a sense of community and anticipation as local talents took the stage.

The night opened with Blended, whose soulful energy and layered harmonies set the tone for what would be a dynamic showcase. Heyfever followed with infectious indie-rock rhythms, blending tight musicianship with raw emotion that had the audience moving. Closing the night, the Owen Jacob Band delivered a powerful set filled with polished arrangements and heartfelt lyrics — a fitting finale to a night celebrating Cairns’ creative pulse.

Beyond the performances, the event’s spirit stood out: a genuine commitment to nurturing original artists and giving them a platform in a scene often overshadowed by cover acts. Supported by RADF, Flame.Arts, the Cairns Regional Council, and the Queensland Government, Enter Stage Right proved that grassroots music in Far North Queensland is alive, thriving, and ready to be heard.
