Luke Combs’ “Welcome Bootleggers” concert at the Accor Stadium in Sydney was a night to remember, showcasing the country star’s exceptional talent and deep connection with his army of fans. The event was part of his 2025 tour across Australia and New Zealand, marking a significant milestone as he became the first country artist to headline stadiums in these countries. Combs in Sydney continued his sell-out run of performances after smashing Brisbane audiences, achieving the remarkable feat of selling out two consecutive shows at Suncorp Stadium continuing a testament to the global superstars’ immense popularity.
The Sydney show featured a thoughtfully curated setlist that balanced Combs’ chart-topping hits with new material, providing a comprehensive journey through his musical repertoire. Fans were treated to an exclusive premiere of a heart-wrenching ballad, ‘Wish upon a Whiskey’, a testament to Combs’ commitment to offering fresh experiences to his audience. He delivered a dynamic two-hour set featuring 24 songs, including fan favourites such as ‘The Kind of Love We Make’, ‘Forever After All’, and ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’. The concert was marked by energetic light show and heartfelt sing-alongs while maintaining a no-fuss approach that highlighted his powerful vocals and the band’s exceptional talent. The atmosphere at the Accor Stadium was electric, with the audience’s enthusiasm palpable throughout the night.
