MGK - Lost Americana Tour

Machine Gun Kelly’s performance in Sydney was one of those shows where you never really stand still, you get caught up in it and enjoy the ride!

From the opening Outlaw Overture, the energy was already high. It had a dramatic start that built you up and didn’t slow down. Starman and Don’t Wait Run Fast kept the energy going, and the crowd was fully engaged early on. The mash-up of Maybe / Wild Boy / El Diablo is where things really got wild. Everyone around me was singing along, and it felt like the whole venue was moving together.

A standout moment for me was I Think I’m OKAY. That song always resonates live, and Sydney was no exception; the crowd really went for it. The same happened during “bloody valentine” later, where everyone screamed the lyrics back.

There was also a nice pause amid the chaos with your name forever (Tribute to Dingo)! It brought the energy down for a moment in a respectful way, making everything after feel even more intense.

The covers were really enjoyable too. The Kid LAROI’s F*CK YOU, GOODBYE and Paramore’s Misery Business fit perfectly, keeping the crowd engaged without breaking the flow.

After that, it was basically nonstop. Drunk Face, Glass House, My Ex’s Best Friend,Jawbreaker,Candy, and Fix Ur Face all came one after another, keeping the venue jumping the entire time. There was no chance to get bored or zone out.

The love race / I Miss You moment offered a nice change of pace, especially with the emotional shift. Then DAYWALKER !flipped everything back into heavy mode with that massive breakdown at the end.

By the final stretch Play This When I’m Gone, Lonely Road, Cliché, Sweet Coraline, and vampire diaries. it felt like everyone was trying to hold onto the last bit of energy. Not in a sad way, more like nobody wanted it to end.

Overall, it was a solid, high-energy show. It was loud, fun, and easy to get lost in as a fan in the crowd. It delivered the big moments everyone came for but felt loose enough not to be over-rehearsed! it was just a great night out at an MGK show

Thank you to MGK, Live Nation, RPM PR and the Qudos Bank Arena for having us along.
