The Darkness - Dreams On Toast Tour - Hobart
The Odeon , Hobart , 1 march 2026.
British rock legends The Darkness on tour in support of their new album - Dreams On Toast .
Sydney based Rageflower opened the night with their dreamy but gritty set. Rageflower’s vocals moved from warm and fuzzy to visceral and raw all while keeping in perfect harmony with the big rock sounds and smooth melodies of the drums and guitars . The crowd screamed for them to play their hit Kerosene, they happily obliged . Each song revealed layers of complexity that kept the crowd on their toes , deep lyrics and nostalgic sort of rock and roll. A fitting opener.
As Rageflower left the stage the crowd began to shuffle in anticipation of The Darkness . A full house at The Odeon, the punters knew what they were in for…Big anthems and high energy!
The moment The Darkness hit the stage thats what we got . They opened with Rock And Roll Party Cowboy which is a single off their new album and classic Justin Hawkins charisma set the tone high and kept it there all night. Delivering hit after hit with the whole crowd singing along. Drummer Rufus Tiger Taylor and bassist Frankie Poullain both bringing their unique style to rhythm and bass, Justin on his pipes and his brother Dan on guitar, they moved in sync .
One things for sure Australians love The Darkness
And The Darkness love Australia.
Thank you to The Darkness, SBM Presents, Morsecode PR and The Odeon for having us along
