Vikki Thorn the Wildflower

This Saturday sees the second installment of the Wildflower concert series, a celebration of women in music. Brisbane will get to experience some of the best female talent this country has ever produced including the amazing Vikki Thorn, who not only has had success in her band The Waifs but in her solo career as Thornbird. We spoke to Vikki about what fans can expect to see at the Wildflower shows, equality for women in the Australian music scene and the essentials she needs for going on tour.

We spoke to the winner of the ‘First Peoples Emerging Artist’ award, Alice Skye about being a part of Wildflower and performing with her idols, Equal Opportunity in Music and what she really thinks about managers.
