Scene and Heard returns bigger and louder in 2019
Following the success of their debut in Newcastle, 2018, Scene and Heard festival has announced tour dates for three locations this summer. Expanding to tropical north Queensland, Barlow Park Cairns will play host to the 2019 launch on October 27th with both local and international artistsset to take the stage. This will be the only Licensed and all ages location and also the only opportunity of the festival to catch alternative rockers, You am I, who will have already commenced their own nationwide tour.
Scene and heard will continue to Brisbane on November 2nd, combining similar sounds of alternative rock, EDM and hip-hop we heard from last years line-up. The Dandy Warhols join the tour in Brisbane, alongside Magic Dirt, Wolfmother, Gyroscope, Sneaky Sound System, Butterfingers and Kid Kenobi. Alex Lloyd will play his entire Aria Award winning debut album “Black the Sun” in commemoration of its 20thAnniversary this year.
Eskimo Joe will join for the final leg of Scene and Heard at Wickham Park, Newcastle on November 10th. Final release and VIP tickets are on sale now through Oztix and Scene and Heard.
