Unleashing Aoki ahead of Festival X Tour

Steve Aoki could be characterised as one of the most charismatic producers and Electro-house DJ’s in the world. However, he is also one of the highest grossing and boasts a huge 8.1 million social media followers.

In 1996, he founded his own label, Dim Mak Records, named after his childhood hero Bruce Lee, which would later release other electro-house artists such as Bloc Party, Infected Mushroom and The Bloody Beetroots.

Internationally, Aoki was not recognised until his debut album Wonderland, which received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2013 followed by chart-topping releases from the ‘Neon Future’ album series. His stage show antics have brought as much notoriety as his music, with fans sprayed with cake and champagne and being able to party right alongside the DJ as he joins them during his sets.

Steve Aoki remains an artist to be reckoned with as he brings his EDM experience to Australian shores for the first instalment of the Festival X tour.

Where will you be?
