Dashville is back on !
Australia’s very own Country Weekender, Dashville Skyline, like many a great festival, has certainly had its fair share of cancellations over the last two years, so it’s with great happiness for the people of Dashville to be able to announce the events return 25th - 27th February 2022.
The Dashville Skyline event which usually takes place over the October Long Weekend, derives its name from the Bob Dylan 1968 album ‘Nashville Skyline’, which gives rightfully the impression of the vibe of this celebration of alternative country . The 3 day event is full of timeless live music, artistic collaborations, family activities, markets, workshops, antique car and instrument displays, Americana inspired food, a guitar-and-car show and shine all nestled amongst the peaceful bushland of the beautiful Hunter Valley.
The line up for Dashville features over 40 Australian acts, including the hugely popular Nashville based Australian, Jordi Lane, The Black Sorrows, William Crighton, Liz Stringer, The Murlocs, Jeff Lang and Tracy McNeil. These legends will join all the billed artists for the tradional ‘Sunset Super Round’ on the Saturday as night falls , for a spontaneous collaboration, to pay homage to their favourite songs of the “golden era”.
Taking place in the same location as The Gum Ball, the Hunter Valley location provides an amazing backdrop to a relaxed, family friendly, no fuss camping experience for alt-country music lovers and those who like to partake in an ultimate weekend escape, full of laid-back music and family fun.
Tickets for Dashville Skyline 2021 are on sale now at the Dashville Store.
