For the first time in over a decade, Bondi Beach will host New Year’s Eve celebrations, with world-renowned party brand elrow teaming up with local event legends Fuzzy to deliver elrow Bondi Beach XXL, a one-night-only event set to host 15,000 partygoers on Australia’s most iconic shoreline. This year’s electronic music program features exclusive New Year’s Eve sets from HoneyLuv (US), Kölsch (DK), Patrick Topping (UK) with the official NYE Countdown set, TSHA (UK) and William Kiss. They’ll be joined by Australian deck wizard’s Adam Holt & NATS, CALIYY, Darkhorse & Grouse, Jakob, Mixed Methods and Shubz.
Elrow Bondi Beach XXL will feature both an 18+ ticketed music festival and a separate free, family-friendly edition for locals on the lush lawns of world renowned beach. The main festival will immerse crowds across two spectacular stages, The Rowmuda, a towering pirate ship locked in battle with a sea monster, and The Pink Cathedral, a brightly coloured inflatable church style tent. With the Locals Lawn instalement offering food trucks, roaming performers and a 9pm fireworks display, giving families the chance to farewell 2025 in a safe and festive environment. While entry to the Locals Lawn is free, residents will need to register in advance to secure their spot.
“This is a party we’ve wanted to throw for a long time,” said Fuzzy Managing Director Adelle Robinson. “We’ve got a deep history with Bondi, and to return on New Year’s Eve feels pretty special. It’s an iconic location and the perfect backdrop for what we have planned. We can’t wait to share more soon.”
More than just a beachside rave, elrow Bondi Beach XXL is being designed with the local community at heart, featuring partnerships with businesses, performances from local talent, and support for community charities. The aim is to create a new hub for New Year’s Eve celebrations outside the Sydney CBD, blending international flair with local spirit.
