“King Of Disappointment” - Jem Cassar-Daley 

What captured me about Jem’s song was the lyrics. I love songs that are lyrically clever and written with a strong storyline, I find I can connect to them.

“Homecoming Queen” - Thelma Plum 

When I first heard this song I instantly fell in love with it! This track really connects with my younger self, and the pathway of self love/worth, I have always felt stronger after listening or even singing this song. 

“Don’t Dream It’s Over” - Cover by Isaiah Firebrace and Stan Walker

The reason I love this cover is because of language and heritage. Isaish and I are both Yorta Yorta people; to hear my language incorporated in songs makes me proud. I would also like to  acknowledge connections to Maori ancestors.

“The Children Came Back” - Briggs 

I think his song will always  be one of my all time favorites, I adore how so many leaders are acknowledged in this song! Also mentions the Sandhills from my country.
