Rose Tattoo - 2026

On the warm night of 31 January 2026, Drifters Wharf in Gosford played host to something truly special: an outstanding performance by Angry Anderson and Rose Tattoo that reminded everyone why this band is carved into the DNA of Australian rock. At 79 years old, Angry Anderson took the stage like a man with nothing left to prove—and somehow still proved everything. His voice, raw and unmistakable, cut through the night with power, grit, and heart.

The crowd was absolutely electric. From the first chord to the final roar, an enthusiastic sea of fans sang, punched the air, and soaked up every moment, fully aware they were witnessing an Aussie rock icon and legend doing what he does best. There was a deep sense of respect in the room, mixed with pure joy, as generations came together to celebrate music that has stood the test of time.

Nights like this underline how vital it is to support live music in Australia. Huge thanks must go to Drifters Wharf for the tons of shows they bring to Gosford every year, keeping live music alive and accessible. Time is running out to see many of the legends of Australian music who still take the stage, and this performance was a powerful reminder not to miss the chance while we still have it. Drifters Wharf continues to play a crucial role in bringing quality bands and iconic artists to the Central Coast, giving local fans unforgettable nights and keeping the spirit of live rock burning strong.
