The Wanderer Festival is returning for a second year after the success of last years inaugural event, with the announcement of this year’s event dates. The Wanderer Festival will take place from the 29th of September through to the 1st of October again taking place at the picturesque location of Pambula Beach on the NSW Coast with a lineup that includes The Jungle Giants, Spiderbait, Kevin Morby, Lisa Mitchell & the Melbourne SKA Orchestra.

Splendour in the Grass is turning 21 but it seems punters are the one’s receiving the gift, with a lineup that includes some of the biggest international music superstars as well as the cream of the crop of local talent. The 2023 lineup of Australia’s premier Music and Arts festival includes Lizzo, Mumford & Sons, Lewis Capaldi, Flume, Hilltop Hoods, Hooligan Hefs, Skeggs, Jack River, Noah Cyrus, Royel Otis, Benee, Peach PRC, Pnau, Ruel, & Slowthai and thats not even a smidgen of the talent set to decend on the festivals beloved home at Ngarindjin / North Byron Parklands from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 July. 

URBAN ICON will be hitting four of our capital cities with a star studded lineup of RnB and Hip Hop artists direct from the USA. The lineup will include J-KWON, CALI SWAG DISTRICT, IYAZ, RUFF ENDZ, NEW BOYZ and the YING YANG TWINS with the heavy-weights supported by THE CLUB JOINT ALLSTARS which consists of locals DJ Moto, DJ Peter Gunz, DJ Demo, DJ Tikelz & DJ Victor Lopez, with MC Rodney O on hosting duties.

In Peril Apparel have proudly announced their In Peril Fest Road Trip set to take place on the 19th of May at Adelaide’s well known Crown & Anchor Hotel. In Peril have joined forces with Sydney’s Metalcore band Harroway in honor of the ‘I don’t want to be here anymore’ tour which will see the four-piece play their first headline show in Adelaide to bring the City of Churches a local lineup of our some of our best Aussie metal bands.

One thing all festivals have in common regardless of its genre, location or size is Rubbish! A new partnership between Major Events Gold Coast (MEGC) and Clean Vibes has been created with the aim to reduce the waste at the Gold Coast’s major music festivals which it is hoped will minimize the impact on the environment. The partnership sees Clean Vibes become the Official Cleaning and Waste Management Services Provider for all four of MEGC's festivals in 2023 including Blues on Broadbeach, Cooly Rocks On, SPRINGTIME and Groundwater Country Music Festival. 

The Strawberry Moon Festival have confirmed their out of this world line up for this yearly event that is quickly becoming a highly anticipated staple on the Australian Festival Calendar, with the lineup set to feature some of the biggest names in not only the Australian but also the international dance music scene including Danny Tenaglia, Dnox & Beckers, Extrawelt, Francisco Allendes, Lewis., Magdalena, Odd Mob, Uone, Doppel, Thankyou City, Silversix, Robbie Lowe, Vorpal, Christopher Brooks, Christian Kerr, Jesse Kuch, Quirk & Wilma and many more.

PROMISELAND, Australia’s first Afrobeats, Amapiano, Reggae and R&B festival has confirmed its return in 2023 with the two-day festival again to be held at Doug Jennings Park on the stunning Gold Coast on the 30th of September to the 1st of October. With a lineup that already includes Ms. Lauryn Hill, Davido. Tems, Fireboy DML, L.A.B, Ayra Starr, Koffee, ONEFOUR, Rebel Souljahz, Fiji, Katchafire and the bad boys themselves Inner Circle.

Rhyme Festival is a brand new addition that has been announced for Australia’s solid festival circuit. Set to take place on the glorious Gold Coast this June, this Hip Hop genre based event will boast some of the biggest names in the Aussie scene including Illy, Drapht, Thundamentals, Saint Lane, Yng Martyr, Wombat, Kobie Dee & Nerve.

The celebration of Aussie rock that is Spring Loaded is back for 2023, with the first event of the series set to take place at the Sandstone Point Hotel which is situated on the picturesque Bribie Island, Queensland on the 3rd of June. With a sublime lineup of some of Australia’s 90s alt rock super bands, the 2023’s show will include Spiderbait, Eskimo Joe, Ratcat, Shihad, Frenzal Rhomb, Magic Dirt, Bodyjar and Screamfeeder.

The Star Sydney's Rock Lily is partnering with Sailor Jerry to launch its first-ever Battle of the Bands where the winner could score exclusive studio time, with a value of $4.5k, at one of Australia’s most iconic recording studios, Studio 301. 

Finally, Dreamstate is coming back to Australia this April. The International festival brand will descend onto Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne on the 22nd of April and sign up for Pre-Registration is open now. The lineup for this massive event will start dropping this Sunday.

One World Entertainment are bringing us a brand new country music festival. Boardwalk Country Music Festival will showcase some of the biggest names in the Australian & International country music scene. Boardwalk Country Music Festival will be taking place at some of Australia’s favourite open-air locations this April.

Australia, we have some very exciting news for festivals, the Queensland based Comiskey Group has acquired a large area of land at Coochin Fields on the Sunshine Coast near Caloundra. The purchase of Coochin Fields by the Comiskey Group will bring festivals the size of which we have not seen here in Australia.

The Smashing Pumpkins are bringing their The World Is A Vampire Festival to ten cities across Australia this April and that is just the beginning!  Joining Billy Corgan and the boys will be special guests including alt-rock legends, Jane’s Addiction and killer Aussie rock bands Amyl & The Sniffers, RedHook, Battlesnake, and some of this country’s most impressive up-and-coming rock talent with local acts opening each show.  

There’s a new festival in town… Daydream is an all indie-rock affair that will be hitting Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane this April. Daydream will feature a lineup of international and local bands that includes Modest Mouse, Slowdive, Tropical F*ck Storm and more!
