URBAN ICON will be hitting four of our capital cities with a star studded lineup of RnB and Hip Hop artists direct from the USA. The lineup will include J-KWON, CALI SWAG DISTRICT, IYAZ, RUFF ENDZ, NEW BOYZ and the YING YANG TWINS with the heavy-weights supported by THE CLUB JOINT ALLSTARS which consists of locals DJ Moto, DJ Peter Gunz, DJ Demo, DJ Tikelz & DJ Victor Lopez, with MC Rodney O on hosting duties.
IN PERIL FEST is ready to ROAD TRIP
In Peril Apparel have proudly announced their In Peril Fest Road Trip set to take place on the 19th of May at Adelaide’s well known Crown & Anchor Hotel. In Peril have joined forces with Sydney’s Metalcore band Harroway in honor of the ‘I don’t want to be here anymore’ tour which will see the four-piece play their first headline show in Adelaide to bring the City of Churches a local lineup of our some of our best Aussie metal bands.
Clean Vibes the future of festivals
One thing all festivals have in common regardless of its genre, location or size is Rubbish! A new partnership between Major Events Gold Coast (MEGC) and Clean Vibes has been created with the aim to reduce the waste at the Gold Coast’s major music festivals which it is hoped will minimize the impact on the environment. The partnership sees Clean Vibes become the Official Cleaning and Waste Management Services Provider for all four of MEGC's festivals in 2023 including Blues on Broadbeach, Cooly Rocks On, SPRINGTIME and Groundwater Country Music Festival.

The PROMISELAND pilgrimage begins
PROMISELAND, Australia’s first Afrobeats, Amapiano, Reggae and R&B festival has confirmed its return in 2023 with the two-day festival again to be held at Doug Jennings Park on the stunning Gold Coast on the 30th of September to the 1st of October. With a lineup that already includes Ms. Lauryn Hill, Davido. Tems, Fireboy DML, L.A.B, Ayra Starr, Koffee, ONEFOUR, Rebel Souljahz, Fiji, Katchafire and the bad boys themselves Inner Circle.
It’s Rhyme time for the GC
Rhyme Festival is a brand new addition that has been announced for Australia’s solid festival circuit. Set to take place on the glorious Gold Coast this June, this Hip Hop genre based event will boast some of the biggest names in the Aussie scene including Illy, Drapht, Thundamentals, Saint Lane, Yng Martyr, Wombat, Kobie Dee & Nerve.
Gear up for Spring Loaded 2023
The celebration of Aussie rock that is Spring Loaded is back for 2023, with the first event of the series set to take place at the Sandstone Point Hotel which is situated on the picturesque Bribie Island, Queensland on the 3rd of June. With a sublime lineup of some of Australia’s 90s alt rock super bands, the 2023’s show will include Spiderbait, Eskimo Joe, Ratcat, Shihad, Frenzal Rhomb, Magic Dirt, Bodyjar and Screamfeeder.

The Star Sydney's Rock Lily is partnering with Sailor Jerry to launch its first-ever Battle of the Bands where the winner could score exclusive studio time, with a value of $4.5k, at one of Australia’s most iconic recording studios, Studio 301.

Finally, Dreamstate is coming back to Australia this April. The International festival brand will descend onto Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne on the 22nd of April and sign up for Pre-Registration is open now. The lineup for this massive event will start dropping this Sunday.

Australia, we have some very exciting news for festivals, the Queensland based Comiskey Group has acquired a large area of land at Coochin Fields on the Sunshine Coast near Caloundra. The purchase of Coochin Fields by the Comiskey Group will bring festivals the size of which we have not seen here in Australia.
The World Is A Vampire Festival hits Australia this April

Grovin The Moo 2023’s big news
Groovin the Moo is back and the GTM team have some massive news. This year the iconic festival will travel to six states and territories around Australia in April and May 2023. Last year, saw GTM set up in Maitland, Canberra and Bendigo but 2023 will see the Moo Spectacular return to SA, Queensland and WA for the first time since 2019.
