Australian-born international superstar VASSY has done it again, the Darwin native has again teamed up with EDM giants to deliver a track full of relatable lyrics and danceable beats. Perth-based alt-folk singer/songwriter Michael Day has released a new single Psych or the Priest. An honest and reflective song about the depression and anxiety most of us have experienced at least once in our lives. Psych or the Priest is accompanied by an equally emotive music video that sees Michael exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Mundaring Hills area of Perth to tell the story of overcoming life’s struggles. Brisbane-based musical wordsmith 2Fly Ty is preparing for the release of his latest single Dance Floor. Aussie singer-songwriter and beatbox extraordinaire Joel Turner has released his first new material in well over a decade. Joel has made an ode to the most iconic of all hairstyle…the mullet. The new track ‘Mullet’ features Macca the Rappa and has led Joel to make an appearance at Mulletfest in Dubbo in August, where he performed the song live and took part in the judging for the event that raises funds for brain cancer. MFA asked Joel about his “return” to music (although he never really left), collabing with Macca the Rappa, MDP andwanting to do a song with Tommy Emmanual.
