On The Steps…
One of Sydney’s most anticipated summer events is back. On The Steps, Live Nation’s open-air concert series at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, returns for its fourth year from the 1st - 15th of December 2025. Set against one of the world’s most iconic backdrops, the two-week series transforms the Forecourt into a vibrant outdoor stage, that will host both local and international talent including Franz Ferdinand, Loyle Carner, Parcels and lots more.
The Blueprint Project
Blue Music Services has released details of their new initiative The Blueprint Project - an artist development program designed to support, guide and promote the next wave of emerging Australian dance and electronic music artists. The Blueprint Project will provide one lucky artist with a “career-defining” package that will include all key area of artist development including PR, visual identity, A&R feedback, live performance and mentorship.

Kicks Entertainment have confirmed the much loved Spilt Milk festival series will go ahead this year, with the dates for the Ballarat, Gold Coast, Canberra and Perth shows in December announced today, creating a collective “phewww” from festival goers that can be heard around the country

Get ready, metal fans… Australia’s first-ever dedicated heavy metal music cruise, HELLBOUND, has been announced! Presented by Destroy All Lines and Choose Your Cruise, HELLBOUND will feature a who’s who of Aussie metal including Parkway Drive, Polaris, Northlane, The Butterfly Effect, Make Them Suffer, In Hearts Wake, Belle Haven, CHEZ, Diamond Construct, Future Static, Ocean Sleeper, and Reliqa, just to name a few.
Woodstock’s Legends Of Country
A brand new all Australian country music festival has been announced; the Legends of Country Festival is set to take place at the tranquil location of Woodstock Farm in Tamborine Village on the 31st of May. Prestented by the The Youth Enterprise Trust (YET), Woodstock Farm will host giants in our country music scene including Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Casey Barnes and Sara Storer, plus more of the local talent from this genre to provide a day full of great music and great memories.
Thrashville unleashes their 2025 lineup
The legends at Dashville have unveiled a lineup that includes King Parrot, Private Function, MUDRAT, Volatile Ways, Frankenbok, Dr Colossus, Hammers, Smacked Youth, Plague Dweller, Mountain Wizard Death Cult, and Slim Krusty for the 2025 edition of Thrashville, the group’s “one-of-a-kind regional all-inclusive heavy music festival” that is set to take place at the iconic Dashville location in Lower Belford, Hunter Valley, on Saturday, the 28th of June 2025.
Open Season - Music For Brisbane
Open Season returns to Brisbane from May - July, bringing with it a huge roster of music and arts events. The fifth edition will take place across six iconic venues and include over thirty events, from intimate gigs to full-blown spectacles. Open Season along with its new partner QPAC, will take over The Tivoli and The Princess Theatre to deliver a dynamic lineup, creating a city-wide celebration of “world-class artists, genre-defying performances and must-do music experiences”

A Guitarist’s Playground, the Melbourne Guitar Show made a killer return on Sunday, March 2nd, this time setting up shop at the Victoria Pavilion at Melbourne Showgrounds. If you’re into guitars, gear, and mind-blowing live performances, this was the place to be.

Out 2 Lunch goes bigger!
Australia’s biggest beach party, Out 2 Lunch returns to the Gold Coast, in May for a monster second edition. After selling out last year’s event in record time, Out 2 Lunch this year will boast two days of epic music provided by both homegrown and international giants of the electronic music scene including host FISHER, Chris Lake, Hayden James, Patrick Topping, DJ Boring, Noizu, Little Fritter, Jake Smith and Shimmy.
Like A Boss
The Australian hip-hop scene is getting blessed with the return of an event set to showcase the huge amount of talent we have in this country, as the LIKE A BOSS Festival rolls into Newcastle on the 15th of March. Newcastle University’s Bar on the Hill and its Forecourt Area will host a lineup that includes Havana Brown, Chillinit, Holligan Hefs, Mason Dane and Youngn Lipz.
GLITCH hits Australia
Glitch, in partnership with Untitled Group, will bring its first-ever Australian edition to Melbourne on Saturday, 12 April 2025, at PICA. This exclusive single-day event will feature a world-class lineup, including internationals Benwal, ØTTA & Narciss, who will be joined by local legends Crybaby and STÜM.
The Warehouse Project
Manchester institution The Warehouse Project, returns to our shores in April, with a lineup that so far includes Partiboi69, Hector Oaks, X-Coast, Miss Bashful and Carla Martinez. The Warehouse Project will take over two of the country’s most loved venues this year, the Hordern Pavilion located in Moore Park, Sydney on the 24th then onto Melbourne’s PICA on the 25th of April.

T1000’s Boutique electronic music festival Electric Island is returning in 2025, along with the debut of Electric Warehouse, bringing a solid lineup of electronic music that includes DukeDumont and Hayden James with support from Eli & Fur, Market Memories, Trilucid and more to deliver four days of dance in Melbourne, Sydney, Cottesloe Beach and Glenelg Beach.
Gearbox Australia
Get ready Hardstyle fans, it’s official, the globally renowned series Gearbox Digital has announced it will host the series’ first Australian event in Sydney on the 19th of April. GEARBOX AUSTRALIA will deliver its “signature raw hardstyle experience” to the Electronic music lovers of Australia with a roster that features So Juice, Cybergore, and Deezl.
